Dr Rohini leads as the Principal Dentist at River Street Smiles, embodying a strong commitment to her craft. Graduating from DIRDS India in 2009, she earned the title of “Best Graduate of College” and a prestigious gold medal. Impressively, she cleared all Australian Dental Council exams on her first attempt, now registered as a General Dentist with AHPRA and a member of the Australian Dental Association (ADA).
Dr. Singla’s drive for knowledge is evident in her pursuit of ongoing education, notably in Implant Restoration. Her proficiency is enhanced by her experience as a general dentist and a respected dental lecturer/tutor in India. Since 2012, she has been a cornerstone of the Northern Rivers dental community. Dr Shinae Lee
Dr Shinae Lee graduated from Griffith University with a Bachelor of Oral Health in Dental Science and a Master of Dentistry, receiving the Griffith Award for Academic Excellence each year. Shinae enjoys all aspects of general dentistry and is passionate about providing exceptional care and a positive dental experience. Her warm and gentle manner helps her personalize each visit and ensure your comfort. Committed to providing optimal treatments, Shinae regularly attends professional development courses to broaden her skills. Born in South Korea and raised in Brisbane from the age of 13, Shinae has volunteered in Warwick, Cherbourg (Australia), and Siem Reap (Cambodia), educating locals on oral health and performing emergency treatments. Before joining us in Ballina, she lived and worked in Tweed. In her free time, Shinae enjoys the outdoors with loved ones and her dog, playing musical instruments, and exploring new restaurants.
Dr Ayah Elhaj
Dr Ayah earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree and later completed a Master of Science in Aesthetic Medicine at Queen Mary University of London. After successfully completing the Australian Dental Council assessment, Dr Ayah became AHPRA-registered and is currently advancing her skills through Melbourne’s General Dental Residency Program, one of Australia’s leading continuing professional development programs for general dentists.She provides comprehensive preventive and restorative dental care, with a strong focus on evidence-based, patient-centred treatment. She is also actively involved in research, with a recent publication in the Journal of Cosmetic Dermatology on the non-surgical treatment of interdental papilla deficiencies. She is currently collaborating with colleagues in the UK on a clinical study investigating hyaluronic acid fillers for intraoral soft tissue restoration. Outside of dentistry, Dr Ayah enjoys spending time with her children, exploring new restaurants, and travelling.
